Toni Douglas

AUT Masters Student | Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
Auckland Regional Centre

Toni is currently enrolled in the Master of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy program at AUT. She was born in Rotorua and considers this home, returning as often as possible.  Alongside her corporate career, she has spent the last 10 years volunteering in schools and nature-based programs, before taking the plunge and commencing retraining as a psychotherapist.

Toni learned classical piano as a young person and has a keen interest in visual arts. It is a privilege for her to incorporate these artistic interests and playfulness into her work with children.  Outside of her studies and work, Toni enjoys her time getting outdoors with her children, kayaking, camping, cooking and gardening.

Toni is looking forward to learning as much as possible from the amazing Raukatauri music therapists and supporting their work through her skills in psychodynamic, non-directive, play-based therapy.
